About Us

Luna (the black and white pup) and Linus (the brown pup) are the heart of Husky Mutty. Both are energetic adventure loving rescue husky mutts who need to be fulfilled mentally and physically. And their human companions are always looking for new ideas and inspiration. Luna loves hiking, playing in the snow, but her easily triggered prey drive often leads her to get distracted by anything she deems as potential “prey.” Hiking near a field of ground squirrels is a challenge. Linus is a water loving pup who finds pure joy in sprinting at top speeds and jumping enthusiastically into any body of water-freezing lakes, rushing rivers, or the ocean all while diligently working through his reactivity to new dogs and people. They were adopted by 2 sisters-Shay (Luna) and Clair (Linus) living in the Bay Area. If you’re looking for travel tips, ideas, and inspiration to enjoy time with your dog, you’re in the right place!
